Job Description

 The role requires the ability to source Working Capital Loan facilities to Agri-related industries, Food Processing and Agro Processing industries, and other manufacturing industries in the MSME segment. The main focus will be on ensuring overall quality of the business, as well as the size of the business.

Key Responsibilites


To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess basic knowledge of working capital finance and understand how to read a balance sheet and P&L statement. Additionally, knowledge of properties and legal matters will be advantageous since it is a mortgage business and loans are secured by properties.

  • Overall, the emphasis is on sourcing high-quality business in the MSME segment by leveraging knowledge of working capital finance, understanding of balance sheets and P&Ls, and local area knowledge. The ability to network, negotiate, and have an understanding of legal matters will be advantageous in securing loans and ensuring the success of the business.
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to source new customers and ensure month-on-month disbursement of loans with a ticket size ranging from Rs. 2 crore to Rs. 25 crore.
  • Each Relationship Manager (RM) is expected to bring in a minimum of 3 new cases per month. This involves meeting and appointing new Chartered Accountants (CAs), financial consultants, Direct Marketing Agents (DMAs), Kotak Bank Branch, and sourcing business on a daily basis. The RM must meet at least 2 new leads every working day.
  • To excel in this role, the candidate should possess excellent follow-up management skills, ensuring that customer requirements and complaints are serviced locally with speed and quality. The RM should collaborate with trade finance, Cash Management Services (CMS), operations, treasury, legal, and branch banking teams to provide seamless customer service. The RM should also work closely with the credit team to manage client expectations and effective risk management.
  • The role requires the candidate to be willing to travel extensively for sourcing business as the profile is 80% field job and 20% office job. The candidate must have their own vehicle with a valid driving license.
