Job DescriptionThe role of closely assisting Business and Functional Heads on key strategic assignments is crucial for FPED to emerge as a sustained market leader. These assignments include a range of initiatives, such as sales acceleration, reducing time to launch, new product development, and entry strategy for new markets.
Key ResponsibilitesTo achieve long-term capability of the business, a 5-year business plan for FPED is formulated, with adherence to key financial objectives of PBT, NPV, IRR, and other metrics. This business plan serves as a blueprint for the company's growth trajectory, outlining the strategies, goals, and targets for the next five years. As part of this role, the individual is also responsible for making the annual operating plan (AOP) for FPED. This involves working closely with the leadership team to develop a comprehensive plan that aligns with the company's overall strategy and financial objectives. In addition, monthly analysis of key ratios is conducted to ascertain the SBU's financial health and profitability. This includes a thorough evaluation of financial performance indicators, such as revenue growth, profit margins, return on investment, and cash flow. Moreover, the individual is expected to evaluate business opportunities for existing and new products based on division strength and capabilities. This involves conducting market research and analysis, identifying potential areas for growth, and working closely with the product development team to ensure successful product launches.
