Job Description

 As a Relationship Manager, one of the primary responsibilities is to work closely with Channel Partners such as DSA's and Referral Partners to bring in new customers. This requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with these partners to ensure a steady flow of new customers.

Key Responsibilites

  To ensure a profitable relationship with clients, it is crucial to penetrate them with various products such as Current Accounts, Term Deposits, Transaction Banking, and Trade Finance. By offering a wide range of products, you can meet the diverse needs of clients and their group companies.

Building relationships with key persons, such as CFOs and promoters, is another important aspect of the role. Establishing trust and confidence with clients helps to create a lasting relationship and leads to increased business opportunities. By understanding the client's business models, trade-related activities, cash flows, and identifying opportunities, you can grow the client relationships and increase their loyalty to the bank.

A focus on continually increasing the Book size and profitability of the assigned portfolio is critical to the success of the relationship. This requires a deep understanding of the client's needs and an ability to provide customized solutions that meet those needs. By doing so, you can increase the revenue generated by the portfolio and improve its overall profitability.

It is essential to stay alert to the competitive elements in the target segments, such as other banks, and augment the presence and penetration of the Kotak brand in the market. This requires a thorough understanding of the market dynamics, competitor offerings, and a proactive approach to marketing and promotion.

Maintaining high-caliber client service is also crucial to the success of the relationship. This means responding to client inquiries promptly, providing regular updates on account status, and addressing any issues or concerns they may have in a timely and professional manner.
