Key ResponsibilitesAs a logistics professional, one of your key responsibilities is to deliver a positive experience to the shipper accounts that you have been assigned. Your success in this role will be measured not only by the volume of shipments and revenue that you bring in, but also by the hygiene parameters that you are able to maintain.
To achieve these objectives, you will need to develop your own account management strategy at a shipper-level. This means that you will need to understand the needs and expectations of each individual shipper and tailor your approach accordingly. By doing so, you can build strong relationships with your shippers and increase the likelihood of winning their business.
To be successful in your role, you will need to take both proactive and reactive measures on key business parameters such as operations, claims, and receivables. This will require a deep understanding of the logistics business and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise.
